                                   Child called ‘it’

‘Wuek, wuek’ the cry of a cute little baby appeared as the baby went out from his mother’s stomach. The mother expects to have a baby girl but when she found out that the baby was a boy, she became mad as her wish didn’t come through. She knocked her head against the wall for many times. The blood came out from her head like a flow of water, whole of her face was pale and the doctor almost going to take her to the mental hospital for treatment but her husband refuse. He told the doctor to give her a chance or maybe she needs some rest. He decides to take her home and the doctor agreed. As he brought her home with the baby; he put her on the bed. And place the baby in his courage. After few days, he asks his wife what’s name should they give for their son but the mother didn’t say a single word since she found out that it wasn't the baby she wishes to. So, he just named the baby David, his grand, grandfather’s name.

 Months later the mother become well as normal women but she never turns her face to the baby who’s now 4 years old. David has a thin face and a very thin body. His hair was black in colour and his eyes were green blue colored. He had his own room which is as small as store, having a small round window which is not clear to see the whole beauty out side his room thus, full of dust and spiders. His mother never allows him to go out and have fun with his friends except his father whose kind but still loves his wife. Sometimes, when his mother wasn’t at home, David’s father took him outside and has fun but not always. He usually spends his whole day inside his small room, doing stuff like reading a story which he borrowed from the library, listening to his small radio given as a birthday present from his father and sometimes been locked inside his room by his mother. David never had enough meal a day but he can do nothing. After few days, the phone rang; the tears came from his mother’s eyes as she hears a bad news about her husband from the police officer who had phoned. He had been in an accident which causes his death. Davis who’s the one who cries a lot because he doesn’t know what will happen if his father was not around as his father always help him in everything. Now, what was left are David and his mother who hates him a lot for whole his life and she will never, ever going to change her mind.

 David is now 9 years old but he never goes to school. When he asked his mother why everyone went to school but he don’t. His mother just said that school isn’t so important for his life but sometimes David went to the library quietly to know more information that he wonder to know. As the day became dark, David goes to bed but before that, he usually reads books till he feels sleepy. Then, he closes the small tiny light on his side table and sleep. In the middle of the night, around twelve o’clock, David’s mother slowly enters David’s room and picks him up along with his stuff. Then, she went straight to her car and placed David and his stuff on the seatback. After a short journey, she stopped somewhere and put David and his stuff on the ground and left him alone in the middle of no way. As the sun rise, as he woke up, he gets shocked found out that he was near the garbage and the place was quiet empty. David has no idea where he is. David knows who had done this to him, it was his mother and he knows her very well. David picks her stuff and starts his journey to somewhere he can survive. After a long journey, he reached a small town and on the sign board was written ‘LoriCa Ace City’ The town seems so quiet. David feels so hungry, his stomach keeps on playing the rock ‘n’ roll music. He starts searching for food but He saw no one. All the markets and shops seem closed. Now, he doesn’t know what to do. He went straight to one of the buildings and sits beside it for a rest after his entire long journey and falls asleep. As the sun began to rise, people start going outside and began their business, children starts playing and the noise appear which makes David woke. As the people went out, they saw David and start calling him ‘it’. One of them said, ‘what it doing here?’ and then the other said, ‘it so dirty’. All of them start saying this long word ‘eiuuuuuuuuu’. He just ignores and get up. He asks them for water but they didn’t answer and went. David keeps on thinking ‘what a strange town is this? People wear gaunt with those light colours like pink, sea blue and so on. They also wear big hats which match to their out fit. No one wears tight, skirts, jacket and hair style like my place where I belongs to. They also called a dirty person ‘IT”! That’s strange. I had seen people like this but not as much as this way.’ David feels really hungry but he doesn’t know what to do. People keep on looking at him with a word ‘it’ came from their mouth. As he walks around the area, an old man came closer and asked, ‘boy, where you came from’ ‘Ah! First time I heard someone called me boy’ David said, ‘I’m from Oxford, out there’ ‘how have you been here?’ an old man asked. ‘Oh, my mother bought me here because she really hates me and she done this when I was a sleep an when I woke up, I found out that I was here. That’s it’ he answered. The man continues, ‘so, you are ‘it’. ‘What? But why so?’ David asked and says, ‘I’m not an animal or something, I am a human been, I have a name to and I’m not ‘it’, ‘Oh dear, of course you’re not. People in here consider ‘it’ as someone who’s an orphan or been thrown up somewhere and I’m ‘it’ to dear, I’m an orphan, my parents are dead last three years and I’ve been sent to this town for no reason and I eat whatever the garbage serves me.’ ‘Why do these people do that? Why don’t they serve us and why don’t they help someone who’s in need?’ David asked. An old man said, ‘Oh, that’s along question and it might have along answer and it is long but I’m not quiet sure about the answer I had.’ David just quiet and the men start saying, ‘this story has been told by someone called Larry, he was my bests friends and he was the only friends I met went I shift here. He died last month for no reason and no one knows why. It was long ago, this town had been rule by a very cruel king and every day, almost more than 5 people dead cause by the fighting they did every day. The first man who was dead was a young man named gorge and he was and orphan. As the king sits at the balcony of his house watching gorge lying on the ground, then he said, ‘ pick it up and buried it in the river’ this was the source why people called someone who’s orphan and thrown away some where ‘it’. And the looser of the fight will be dying and starving in the cage where they keeps the looser and those people also called ‘it’. That’s why they didn’t help us who are in need and they thought that we are the looser. And now as the king gone, no one wanna be the next king but they get use to this kind of behaviour as the king had thought them but the only change is their outfit. Before they used to ware those cowboy outfit style but now they change it as the sign of the sadness for their king’s death. That’s it! That’s the end!’ David just quiet but still confuse. Then an old man shows him the place where he used to get sleep and do stuff like typing a story, reading books, and many more which could survive his life.

As he reaches the place, the man told David to have a rest. David feels a bit scared as the place was quite dark. Before he lay, He went to the old man to ask what his name was. An old man reply, ‘my name is Charlie, Charlie McGonagall’  ‘so, can I call u Charlie?’ Charlie said, ’you can call me whatever you want my dear’ David went straight to his mattress and fall a sleep.
At the other side in Oxford, David’s mother married other guy named Gary who was one year older than her. She has son, Alex and girl, Dalia. They live a happy Family. She never told her husband about her son, David and her dead husband who had been in an accident. She told her husband that she had not married before. One day, As Gary went home from work, he saw that she was sleeping on a couch while holding a medium size frame, and in that appeared a photo of a men who looks like 30s year old. At the bottom of the frame was written ‘my lovely husband’. Gary shocked and wakes his wife, picks all her stuff and said, ‘Get out of my house, NOW!’

The morning began and the whole places were shine by the sunrise on the sky. As David woke up, he found out that Charlie was gone or maybe he’s some where searching for foods. The place he stayed was near to the river, Charlie go straight to it and take a bath. While he takes a bath, he hears a voice of people coming towards him. David hides his face in the water to see who is coming and what is going on. David saw that the people were not from this town, they were some kind of tourist or maybe they got lost. The reason is that they wore jeans and tight shirt. He made himself appear and as they saw David, they call out, ‘hey you, at the river, may I know what this place was?’ David gets out and shakes hands with them and said, ‘well, I dun no much about this place sir, I just shift here. What I know is this place is called ‘LoriCa Ace City’. May I know where you guys came from?’ ‘Oh, we were coming all the way from London. What about you?’ ‘I’m from oxford, sir, my father is dead by an accident and my mom throws me here because she really hates me since I was born.’ The women said, ‘so, you are an orphan? Oh my, I really want a child. You are really cute boy. Do you want me to be your mother?’ David said, ‘I would love to if you want, I really needs someone to be on my side. What’s your name lady?’ ‘My name is Mary Kate, just call me Mary or mom if you like to’. David feels so happy but he has to get permission from Charlie to go. He went every where searching for him but he couldn’t find him, then he wrote a letter and placed it on the table. David went and lives with them in London.  

As Charlie arrived he saw paper on the table which was written,
Dear my best old friend,
          Charlie.
I’m writing this letter to thank you very much for your kindness that you had done to me and I’m really appreciating that. When I was taking a bath, a group of family came towards me who came all along from London. I told all what happen to me and how I get here. The woman was so happy to know I’m an orphan and they want me to be parts of their family and I agreed. I’m leaving for good Charlie. Thank you again for your respecting.

After Charlie had read it, he smiled, he was so happy to see his friend was happy. He took the food he bought and eat it.
After few weeks, as long as David lives with his step mother he never faced anything which made him unhappy. His mother born a boy and a girl named Fred and Julia who will be his brother and sister. He feels so happy to be an alder among his sibling.

 After few years David grown as a man and he became a pilot; His step parents died last two years. On his way to home, he saw an old woman lying on the floor behind a small shop. When he looks closer, he feels like he knows this woman but he can’t remember who. He asked the woman what her name is, she didn’t answer. However, she keeps on calling a boy name David many times and the tear came out from her eyes. As he heard the name David he starts to remember that this woman was his mother. David said, ‘it’s me mom, your son David’ as the woman heard, she hug David so hard and he bought her home and introduces her to her grandchildren, Lucy, Anne, Gorge, Charlie and his wife, Kate. David asked his mother what happen, His mother told him the entire story he faced in his life after he left David. She starts crying and ask for her apologises and David forgives her.

Five years later, Kate got two more son named Rudy and Adam. Lucy who’s now 24 years old is getting married next week along with her sister Anne who’s now 23 years old. Gorge who’s 22 is studying in the university at Australia and Charlie 19 is studying in college at London. Rudy is just 4 years old and he was a Kinder Garden. Adam is a cute baby who’s now 1 year 9 month. David’s mother died last year on 14th Feb which was an anniversary and was buried in Oxford as it was her will. David was still a pilot and Kate was a house wife taking care of the kids. David loves Kate very much and always be on her side. Every each year or in Christmas, all their sons and daughters will be back home and have a family party and have fun together. They live happily ever after. This was the ends of the story
